JLUG (Japan Lisp User Group) is an independent non-profit organization for and of people interested in the programming language Lisp. Its goal is to provide an active community in Japan where Lisp researchers, implementors, application developers, users and students can share latest work in principle, implementation and use of Lisp. JLUG was established in 2000 initially to host LUGM (the Lisp User Group Meeting) which was held in Tokyo, Japan that year.

Following the success of JLUGM 2000, JLUG is committed to motivating the Lisp community through various activities and media.
